Tile Weight for Wall Tiling to Plasterboard
32kg per Square Meter including Tile Adhesive and Grout Weight when Dry, it’s only 20kg per square meter when tiling over skimmed plaster. So don’t skim plasterboard when you’re tiling over it, it only weakens the total lateral strength.
